What personal data do we collect?

  • The information you have provided to us in the application form and pre-screening questions such as name, surname, contact information, location.
  • Data which you have provided to us in your application documents (curriculum vitae (CV), cover letter) including work experience, qualifications and language skills.
  • Other information voluntarily provided by you.

What special categories of personal data we process

We also collect, store and use your special category personal data for various reasons, relying upon different lawful processing bases under the GDPR or other applicable data protection laws as detailed below:

  • to fulfil our legal obligations related to employment, social security, social protection law, or if required in the public interest.
  • Health data for assessing your working capability required for your role or ensuring insurance benefits.

How Do We Collect Your Personal Data?

  • Directly from you when you submit your resume (CV), application, and/or cover letter via email or mail, during interviews, or through employment testing.
  • Through recommendations from employees at Testdevlab, your previous professional engagements, and other individuals.
  • From publicly available sources such as recruitment platforms (LinkedIn profile).

If you do not provide data necessary for the objective and informed evaluation of your job application (such as your work history, academic qualifications, and practical skills), we will not be able to properly process your application for employment at Testdevlab.

When is Your Consent Required for Processing Personal Data?

If your application is rejected, but you wish for us to retain and process your data for future job openings, we will request your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who May Receive Your Personal Data?

  • Other TestDevLab companies where necessary for administrative and HR purposes,
  • Third party service providers of HR and recruitment platforms, providers of IT services, cloud providers, website hosting and management, data analysis, data back-up, security and storage services
  • Providers of legal or accounting professional services in so far as it refers to recruitment process.
  • To our clients for background screening procedure, project management and business operations purposes
  • External service provider for verification of identity or background check providers in accordance with applicable law or regulation
  • Health providers (including occupational health) for assessing working capacity
  • Governmental or regulatory authorities, courts and law enforcement authorities or agencies as required by and/or in accordance with applicable law or regulation

Is Your Personal Data Transferred Internationally?

Personal data may be transferred to third countries outside the European Union or European Economic Area with other TestDevLab companies, as well as our service providers. For this purpose, we enter into data processing agreements that include appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission.

How are we securing the data?

We use a variety of technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data. Your personal data is stored securely and is accessible to a limited number of people - only authorised persons.

In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need-to-know. They will only process your personal information on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.

For how long do we keep the data?

Personal data collected from your job application will be retained for 5 years after the end of the recruitment process. If you do not want us to store your data for longer, please inform us of your wish to delete the data before our specified retention period.

After this period, we will securely destroy your personal information in accordance with our data destruction procedure.

Are You Subject to Automated Decision-Making?

You will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, which results in a decision with significant legal and/or other impact on you.

What are your rights?

  • Right to be informed about what data is being processed, how and why.
  • Right to request access to your personal data.
  • Right to request to correct/update your data (for example, if the data is incorrect, incomplete or inadequate).
  • Right to withdraw your consent.
  • Right to request to erase your data.
  • Right to ask for the restriction of processing of your data (temporary halt to processing of personal data, for example, when the data is being corrected).
  • Right to object to processing of your data (for example, if the processing of data is inconsistent with the primary purpose for which it was collected).
  • Right to lodge a complaint.
